Memebox Sweet Shop

I know, i'm a bit late jumping on the Memebox bandwagon.  I'm on it, though, finally.

For those who don't know Memebox is a Korean (i think?) box brand.  You don't subscribe, you just buy boxes as they come out/you're interested in them.  But be quick, some boxes sell out extremely quickly.

I bought the sweet shop box as a way to start off.  At the time there was a $15 coupon on your first box, this meant i paid for shipping only (the box was $14.99, shipping $6.99), so it was a great way to try it out.  Boxes do vary in price, though, but then they also vary in value.

It was finally released at the end of August (i bought it on prerelease), and was in my hands in under a week!  I only used basic shipping, and was amazed at how quick it got here.

But on to the box.

Everything is pink!!  From the post bag to the box and the tissue paper.  I love it!

4 full sized products!  Not too bad at all, plus they are brands you aren't going to find in your average box.

I got Ruby.  It smells a bit masculine to me, not miserably so, but it also isn't overly sweet.  It isn't the greatest scrub i've ever used, the sugar dissolves, but if you wanted a light scrub this would be perfect for you.  It's made using black sugar, shea butter, jojoba oil, glycerin and diamond powder extracts, so it leaves your skin feeling beautifully moisturised.

when i first smelt this i wasn't too sure at all, it smells like fermenting fruit.  However when you use it it smells a lot better, like a toffee apple (a proper toffee apple, like the ones you buy in the supermarket.  sugary sweet toffee and that slightly cooked, slightly wine-y apple).  This has 10 berry complexes to cleanse and repair, without damaging colour, perms or drying out your hair.  I'm in love with this, it leaves my hair super soft and shiny without conditioner.  It's definitely something i would repurchase.

These are masks for your lips.  They have collagen, vitamin e, hyaluronic acid and honey and are supposed to help soothe dry, chapped lips.  I haven't tried them yet, my lips are in fairly good condition, but i will definitely get some use out of them when the time is right.

There were 3 possible scents/colours for this, mine is Hot Cherry, a pretty pink (it smells like cherry/vanilla, it's lovely).  These have co-enzyme Q-10 and shea butter, and do an amazing job of moisturising your lips.  They're perfect for those days when you don't want a full blown made up face, but you feel a bit washed out without some colour.

Total value $48!

I love this box.  I can't say i'll be a regular purchaser of Memebox (i have way too much stuff as it is), but if a box caught my eye and i had some money to spend, this would be where i spent it.
